Trees are a very precious part of the nature. I don’t expect anyone who doesn’t know the importance of the tree. If you don’t know then for you,

  1. Trees consumes the co2 and produces the oxygen in day time.
  2. Trees help it to rain.
  3. Trees are the main food of many animals and humans.

These are a few of the reasons for showing you the importance of trees, but trees always mean more than this to man. Trees are the best friends man has ever had; tree gives life to many organisms. From birds to humans also. I said humans because most of the population does eat vegetables – although vegetables do not come from trees.

One of the fascinating trees is Ficus Benjamina tree. It grows in northern hemisphere and quite interesting one. It grows very much large and a favorite garden tree for many peoples. One extraordinary thing with this tree is its destructive roots; its roots are so much stronger that they destroy any near by construction. That’s why it’s advised to not plant a ficus tree near the walls of your home. Another famous use of ficus tree is as bonsai. A bonsai ficus tree looks very pretty and is beautiful to watch.

We have another interesting tree, pineapples tree. You should know it by its fruit. It is associated with many interesting facts. One fact is, for the first year, it does not produce fruit. Fruit production starts from the second year onwards. The second interesting thing is the fruit we knows as big, is actually a collection of many small fruits derived from grouping of many small flowers.

Trees are best friends to man, but we don’t treat them as one. We cut them for wood, papers and many more reasons. Our green mother is getting gray day by day. Ultimately it is going to impact human kind only.
