Coffee Rocks!

The alarm clock goes off in most homes and the day begins with a hectic pace for most people. The first stop of the day is often to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. It seems to get the day off to a good start for most people. Once the day is in full swing coffee continues to be a large part of the day. It is certainly more than a morning beverage. Coffee has become the accepted beverage of choice in homes, businesses, offices and most public places. It is not unusual to find a coffee pot right along side the water fountain in most locations. People drink it with caffeine, without caffeine and a combination of the two. It seems that creative endeavors to find a unique way to serve it are constantly in place. It is served in fine china in marvelous restaurants or on silver trays brought to the bedside for the elite.

At the same time it is richly appreciated in a paper cup by the dockworker or carpenter hanging drywall in an empty building. A cup of coffee will be in the hands of teachers and the smell will drift through the hallways as educators drink up the java. Church’s serve coffee before and during services and most business meetings would never get off the ground without it. Students survive late nights fueled with coffee and restaurants count it as a key part of their menu. With more businesses carrying coffee vending machines, even business folks can enjoy a beverage at any time.

Try standing on any street corner in a major city and you will be able to count multiple coffee houses, or street vendors serving coffee. People walk with it in their hands and drive with it in their vehicles as they go about their routine during the day. Coffee fuels the world and conversations revolve around it. A coffee date is widely understood as a chance to catch up on conversation with a cup of coffee in hand. Coffee definitely rocks!
