Some of My Slate Tile Facts

Here is my list of facts about slate tile:
1) It is, in fact, made from slate, and is not some sort of marketing device designed to make you purchase mass quantities of stone decorative tile.
2) Speaking of mass quantities, there is an abundance of this rock in most parts of the world. This, of course, adds to its reputation as a cheap date, or at the very least a less expensive alternative to marble tile, which is so expensive it forces you to take her to a five star restaurant (and even then it’s the tile that gets laid and not you).
3)An all purpose tile, slate is commonly used for interior design, as well as, for exterior design, most especially roofing, and then the well known slate tile flooring. This is why it was able to make the preseason All American team for its versatility.
4)It’s cool. No, seriously it is. That is why it is a popular choice (like Jenna Jameson at a frat party) to be laid as counter-top. When things really heat up it keeps cool. I think they can it thermal resistant. That’s probably another reason women love it. When things really heat up no damage is done.
