Our whole house is starting to look a bit stale to me. It’s not that everything is outdated; I have never been one to put a lot of thought into current trends, especially when it comes to home décor. I prefer to use my imagination to come up with ideas on how I would like my home to look.
It’s not that I haven’t tried. I went through a long period of buying every House & Garden magazine that I could get my hands on, scouring the pages to see what was new, and what was hot. I finally came to the conclusion that nothing could improve on my kitchen cafe curtains, and I stopped looking. So now, as I contemplate upgrading, I will once again choose a style that suits my tastes, not what someone else dictates.
