1. The Trough – At this point, the market may have already reached its bottom. Emotionally, however, jumping into the market would be difficult since the result of the market may have sunk so much that the equities are already out of favor. In this case, individuals could be generally demoralized and feel discouraged about these equities. Those who are still in the market may choose to “reduce their losses“. This may be the worst thing they can do at this point.
2. Recovery – At this instance, the market might begin to turn around. There will be destructive economic data, but there are an increasing amount of companies that are reporting better monetary consequences. Still, these traders would be doubtful and they would stay away in a worry of a “double-dip” to happen, even though the rest of investments are still performing well.
3. Market Expansion – This is when the financial system would buzz alongside, the corporations that are reporting document earnings as well reporting great financial strength. Investors are then keener to take a position. This is due to the hope that these good financial numbers will continue to grow. These traders hope that the demand for the stocks will continue upward.
4. Market Crest – At this stage, the markets would be at their most expensive and the majority of its features will have been priced into a fair price by now. Nonetheless, the traders are anxious since they have already missed the excessive amount of obtainable profit. The late traders will usually leap into this stage. There are little or no kind of indicators that the economic expansion would end. Euphoria takes over at this stage. Investors feel that the market will continue to climb endlessly. Little do they know that it is probably too high for the amount of support that is available. The market is due for a correction at this point.
