I had decided early on that I was going with a tin roof for my shed in the backyard. The shed keeps a lot of important stuff safe and secure, and I had heard that tin roofing lasts basically forever so long as it’s well taken care of. There are a lot of heavy storms in my area, though, so I needed something that would be a bit tougher than average. This is why I went with a corrugated tin roof. The steel core of the roofing material would keep the shed safe from harm, while the tin coating would keep the steel safe from rust and environmental decay. I’m sure that I’ll need to do a bit of maintenance on the roof to keep it in good shape, but this is certainly worth it to me. My corrugated tin roof provided a tremendous amount of security for a cost which was cheaper than I had expected.
