If you’re thinking of opening a B&B in the Languedoc Roussillon region of France, but you’re not sure if it’s right for you, then my advice would be don’t. Here’s why, there are already plenty of B&B’s here and you need to know what you’re doing if you’re going to enter this market place. The Languedoc is a pretty upmarket place these days so don’t even bother setting up a B&B unless you have enough money to make it look really good. You should be thinking Boutique B&B and not cheap guesthouse. Furthermore you had better know a bit about marketing because no ones going to visit unless they know about you and nobodies going to know about you unless you’re clued up on where to promote your new accommodation. You have been warned, do your research.
