Laser Comb

There is a new gadget that is being talked about as a way to help stop hair loss caused by male pattern baldness.  In the sales literature it says the device is approved by the Food and Drug Administration.  This makes it sound like the laser hair restoration device is approved for regrowing hair.  This is not really true.

What the FDA said was the laser comb would not cause any harm.  They did not certify that it would help to regrow hair.  The sales material is not really lying but it certainly does make one think that the laser brush will help to regrow hair.

The only thing the light does is heat the scalp up some.  This may increase blood flow to the hair follicles but this has not been proven.
