By far the best way of choosing a kids Halloween costume for your kids is to let them do it themselves! Of course, if your children are very small you can dress them up however you like, but with older children they are going to have very firm ideas of how they want to dress up for Halloween. If you try and get them to wear a costume that they do not like then you may have a riot on your hands. Kids look forward to going out trick or treating and having all their friends and neighbors seeing them in their costumes and they have probably been planning it for weeks beforehand. If you do not approve of their costume choices it is easier to have them make small adjustments than to get them to wear the ‘cute kitty’ costume you like rather than the ‘Indiana Jones’ costume they like.
