Is it necessary to divide nature into two separate entities, not suggesting monotheism, thought William. No. But it is the manner normally done since classical times in British Witchcraft. He thought gods and goddesses are much better than one god, but that’s a personal judgment. He thought he should view deity as is most logical to him. The view he presented of god and goddess is very traditional. However he personally didn’t approve or disapprove of any particular view of deity, as long a deity is not harmful to others. He knew some people, always non-Craft people, strongly disagreed. So be it. Nevertheless, compared to some other Crafters, he took a very mild stand. He hoped that perhaps he could provide food for thought to those that disagreed with him.
