The black cat is a very mysterious animal. First of all, it is associated with Halloween. Black cats are known to be part of the witch’s wardrobe. If you watch the television drama series or movie known as Bewitched, you would be able to see a black cat. If I am not wrong, the witch can change into a black cat and vice-versa. So why use the cat as the animal to represent the witch and Halloween and why use the colour black? I guess the colour black is used because it would represent an ominous and depressing colour. But the cat? I really do not know why. There are other weird stuff associated with the cat, such as raining cats and dogs and cats having nine lives. So what gives about cats?
