HP Officejet 6500 Review
If there was an all-in-one printer that was extremely easy to install, would you be interested in knowing more about it? I’m guessing the answer is ‘maybe.’ While it’s a nice feature, installation is often a one-time process. Therefore, you’re not going to base your decision solely on that feature. But you have to admit that it’s a nice start. Plus, I’ll be honest. The HP 6500 Printer might be easy to install — the software walks you through it — but it still takes a long time. Okay, so we went from somewhat happy to somewhat sad, but that’s okay. There’s much more information to base your decision on.
If you want simplicity, then you will appreciate that the cartridges are easy to install. If you want speed, you will be happy to know that this model can print up to 31 pages per minute black and 30 pages per minute color. If convenience is what you’re looking for, you might want to know that the 6500 comes with a 250-sheet input tray, a 50-sheet output tray, a 35-sheet automatic document feeder, and two-sided printing. If you want to save money, then perhaps the 40% lower cost per page and usage of 40% less energy than a laser printer might interest you. 
And if you want to buy a model with a solid reputation and good customer feedback, then you should know that 96 of 169 consumers gave this 5 or 4-star ratings (5 being highest). I’m guessing you’re more interested now.
If I’m correct with my assumption, then the next thing we need to get to is price. The HP 6500 Printer has a list price of $246. This is a low price for an all-in-one. That’s what makes the price you can find on Amazon so amazing. New units are currently selling for as low as $124.49. This is an outstanding price for a machine that can do everything listed above. And we didn’t even get into fax, scan, and copy features. Nor did I have a chance to mention wired and wireless networking. Oh well, maybe next time.

I always thought printers always sounded like they were gonna blow when setting up for the first time anyway. Like they were gonna get up and walk away. Everybody in the house loves it. Stay away from HP laptops but you cant beat their printers.

We just recently bought the HP Officejet 6500 Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer for our office to replace a Brother all in one that we had that just seemed to stop working. It had a paper jam but there was nothing stuck in it. Anyway, this HP Officejet 6500 works great. The printing is much faster, set up was simple (I use a Mac) and we think the ink in HP printers lasts longer. So it’s a good buy and we’d highly recommend it to anyone. It’s really good for a small office where you need to copy things once in a while.
