With many college kids moving into new homes or dorm rooms each year there is almost always a hot market for CD storage options. One of the most common ways to store compact discs and other musical pieces starts with leaving them at home. With the near saturation of college kids by the iPod or other MP3 player, many students simply burn their music collection and have it all in their hand. This decision to leave CD’s at home works well for small dorm rooms and places where space is at a premium.
However, if a student decides to include CD’s, DVD’s or even VHS tapes in his college packing, there are many different CD storage racks available at area stores including Target, IKEA and Wal-Mart. Most times the cost of an effective storage unit ranges from twenty to a hundred dollars.
